You Can Now Find And Apply For Jobs On Facebook.


If you are searching for a job you don’t need to switch to different job sites. Now you can find a new job on Facebook.

On Wednesday, the social networking giant announced its project on its mobile apps and the web. Facebook users will be able to search help-wanted posts at business pages. This project is initially started in US and Canada.

Talking about the new project California-based platform said in an online message:

“Businesses and people already use Facebook to fill and find jobs, so we’re rolling out new features that allow job posting and application directly on Facebook,”

 

How it will work?

According to Facebook, the company with Facebook presence can add job openings to their page. Job postings may appear in news feed section. Facebook users can find jobs via the site’s new bookmark, which offers filters to help cater your search to match your criteria.
The post will have an Apply button which direct you to an online form. The form will have some default information filled out automatically from a person’s Facebook profile. User can even add, edit and reviews forms before submitting them.

Company volunteers will check your credentials and then contact potential candidates through the Messenger text communication service.
